In time for the wedding anniversary of Prince William and Princess Kate of England, Mattel famous maker of Barbie and Ken dolls will immortalized the royal wedding. The U.S. manufacturer Mattel announced that they will be releasing a doll set commemorating the one-year anniversary of Prince William and Catherine Middleton’s wedding at the Westminster Abbey last April 29, 2011.

The doll will be dressed in wedding regalia, replicating what the Princess and Prince wear on their wedding day. Kate’s dollw wears an ivory wedding gown with lace torso and full skirt, which is very similar to the Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen royal wedding dress that Princess Kate Middleton wear last year. The doll will also holds a posy of season flowers in one hand, and wears ivory veil, sparking tiara, and matching drop earrings.
The Prince William doll is outfitted in his scarlet Irish Guards colonel’s uniform, and is topped with a blue Order of the Garter sash stitched with his RAF wings.
Barbie and Ken dressed as Princess William and Princess Kate are set to priced at $100 and a part of Mattel’s Barbie Collector series designed by Robert Best which is only available for pre-order online at BarbieCollector.com .
