Tips on finding that perfect pair of jeans

Everyone owns a pair of jeans they simply love. They are worn out, you’ve washed them countless times, and they are shredded to pieces from how much you wear them. So when the time comes to replace those jeans which have no life left in them, and you want to find the perfect pair of jeans and fit, these are some ways to go about doing just that.

Try it on –
And no, not just one pair. Try on several pairs. Try on different denims, try different fits (flare, slim, boot, etc), try out different brands. One is going to fit like a glove, but you have to try out several before you find the right fit and comfort level.

Do the sit test –
Yes, this does exist. Sit down in those dozens of pairs of jeans you are trying on. Squat, sit down crossing your legs, see if they ride up or fall down. Make sure they fit you perfectly, and aren’t moving, chaffing, or otherwise coming off your body when you sit. Since you will sit and stand often each day, make sure the jeans are going to stay on for the ride with you.

Fit test –
NEVER buy jeans which are too big. Throughout the course of the day they will get bigger. After you shower, your body cools, so they will loosen up. When you walk, and get out of bed, puffiness over your body goes down, so the jeans will feel a little looser. Make sure you don’t buy something skin tight (unless this is comfortable to you), but also don’t size up too much, as you’ll regret it.

There are so many styles, fits, and denim options when purchasing jeans, you can join the trend like this embroidered jeans but you can always go with the basic and classic one. It will require some getting used to and trying on countless pairs, but these are a few simple tips to help you find the ideal fit, and pair you are going to love to wear every day. Before you commit the buying a pair of jeans you should always shop around to see if they can pick them up for cheaper in another store. I would recommend using a catalogue comparison site.

The Art of jeans

In 1873, Levis Jeans were the first to use metal tacks to hold the trousers together and those tacks are still the hallmark of the jeans today. Sizes of Jeans range from regular too big and tall. The Jeans made by Levis are an American Classic and have become synonymous with descriptive words such as quality, craftsmanship, rugged and style.

Besides being known for quality, Levis is also known for categorizing their jeans by number. The three digit number refers to the fit, and that makes it easy for customers to refer to a number in the future and receive the same fit jeans. For women’s, juniors and misses jeans the three digit number refers to the rise of the jeans and how it fits the thigh and seat areas, and sometimes the silhouette of the leg opening will be different, even when the three digit number is the same.

G&L Clothing, serving customers since 1917, provides a variety of Jeans by Levis. The jeans are available in a variety of leg types and include straight, skinny, slightly tapered and boot cut. The Jeans also include classic seat and thigh fit, waist gather and below waist fit and slim fit jeans. Loose fit jeans will give the customer a little bit more room without the jeans taking on the baggy look.

All Jeans by Levis include the choice of the button or zipper fly and 5 pocket construction to accommodate storage needs. G&L will tailor the jeans to a customized leg length, but tailored jeans are not eligible for return or exchange.

Fashion- Story of pain and glory

I remember the time when I was once an ugly duckling. I don’t know what fashion really means, i just wear what’s inside my closet because that’s the only thing i can afford.

Every child dreams she has beautiful dresses like the story in the fairytale book or the one she saw in magazines wear by those beautiful, petite models. That was my definition of fashion before and I thought only those with money can afford that luxurious looks just like my friend who will always tease me because I’m wearing brandless  shirt which was already faded and shoes that was with me for years.  There are times i broke into tears because i have no new dress to wear on Christmas celebration or I still need to borrow from my friend so there is something  i can wear for our JS prom. I still remember how my grand mother hand stitched my skirt so i have something to wear on my graduation.

Back then, i thought i had no sense of fashion but then as times goes by I have learned the true color of fashion and what it meant in my life. I don’t need very expensive clothes to call myself a fashionista because a true blue fashionista is not just by the brand or the label she wears but how she actually wear it,  pardon me for speaking that but I do admire those who wear very fancy and interesting clothes, it is not just my nature though.

I have known many designers who have beautiful but simple collections and I totally admire them.  Just like Mango who showcase lines of t-shirts, jeans, street styles and beautiful dresses that are simple but  will definitely make you bloom and enticing  and after all beauty always radiates not just by the way how you dress yourself but the true personality you have  inside of you and that is far more important than anything.

i always admired penelope because of her simplicity but i find her more beautiful here than ever

I so love Penelope and i can’t wait to see her new movie too!
